The System Administrator, DC Support, position will be responsible for the IT operational support for the distribution center in Moreno Valley. This person must be a self-starter, goal oriented, and able to work independently. The position requires on-call support in order to respond to operational needs for the DC. Due to the nature of 24×7 operations and shipping, response needs to be timely for DC support. This position will help coordinate helpdesk requests for the DC that will encompass account management, hardware support (networking, servers, printers, mobile devices), and troubleshooting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years of strong IT background in network, server and desktop support.
- Experience using Windows Active directory, permissions, groups, administration.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms-servers (VMare, Microsoft) and desktops.
- Solid understanding of Ethernet and TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VLAN’S etc.
- Ability to work under pressure in a very demanding environment.
- Great time management skills.
- Strong IT background
- Knowledgeable of automation and conveyor system troubleshooting.
- Someone who can provide desktop/laptop support such as: HP Printers, Zebra printers, Dell Desktop/laptops, Toledo scales, Symbol wedge scanners, VOIP phone system, Spyware and virus removal, and desktop imaging.
