Job Opening: Cell Tech Assembler
Description
BASIC PURPOSE: Ensure smooth, efficient manufacture of customer product by supporting any and all individual value-added processes within the DS1 Cell.
Interprets customer order information on printed documents and in MRP system to correctly completed finished DS1 assemblies.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
• Assemblies any customer received transmitters to diaphragm seals.
• Plumbs the assembly to fill station.
• Follows procedures to close completed filled system and remove system from fill station.
• Performs spot welds to completed filled diaphragm sealed systems as needed.
• Uses necessary calibration fixtures to properly calibrate the connected transmitter components to requested ranges.
• Examines work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straight edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Sets up, adjusts, and operates hand and power tools common to the DS1 assembly processes typical to the cell. • Communicates with Cell Manufacturing via email or in person to resolve issues.
• Performs ancillary duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 – 3 years manufacturing environment experience
• Familiarity with all manufacturing processes within the cell
• Capability to perform filling, calibration, assembly and basic spot-welding
• Ability to communicate in English required.
• Works well in a team or group dynamic.
