ProLogistix is currently hiring several General Laborers for opportunities in Pelion, SC!!  These temp-to-hire positions are with a large grower, processor and distributor of farm fresh vegetables.  No experience required!

As a General Laborer for ProLogistix at our client site in Pelion, you will be responsible for processing, sorting, packing and preparing vegetables for shipping.

Pay:  $13.67/hr – $15.00/hr (depends on position and shift)

Shifts & Positions:

  • Sorters (Light Lifting):
    • 1st Shift:  8:15am-4:30pm; rotating schedules, 1 week is M-F, next week is M/T/Thur/Fri/Sat; pay $13.67/hr
    • 3rd Shift:  11:45pm-8:00am; rotating schedules, 1 week is M-F, next week is M/T/Thur/Fri/Sat; pay $14.00/hr
  • Sorters (Heavy Lifting):
    • 1stShift:  8:15am-4:30pm; rotating schedules, 1 week is M-F, next week is M/T/Thur/Fri/Sat; pay $14.67/hr
    • 3rd Shift:  11:45pm-8:00am; rotating schedules, 1 week is M-F, next week is M/T/Thur/Fri/Sat; pay $15.00/hr

ProLogistix has immediate openings for General Laborers in Pelion, SC!!  

Job Requirements as a General Laborer:

  • Depositing crates of greens onto the inspection line for multiple hours at a time
  • Stacking line will involve counting and placing the correct cases onto pallets
  • The labeling line will involve manually placing labels on finished product pallets and wrapping the pallets
  • Maintain clean work areas to minimize cross contamination

For Light Lifters:

  • Sorting and inspecting product on conveyor line.
  • Packing Vegetables
  • Making boxes
  • Label and wrap finished pallets for shipping

For Heavy Lifters:

  • Dumping totes of fresh vegetables to conveyor (lifting up to 50lbs regularly)
  • Sorting good/bad off of conveyor.
  • Packing Vegetables
  • Palletize finished cases (lifting up to 50lbs)
  • Label and wrap finished pallets for shipping

Important details about our client location:

  • It is COLD - Temperatures between 35-38 degrees in the warehouse. Dress warm and in layers.
  • NO public transportation supports this location.
