Job Opening: Warehouse Associate Part-Time

• Reviews reports and orders on a daily basis for issues such as orders on hold, product not available, incorrect account number or incomplete address

• Assists the supervisor in prioritizing small orders to be picked and packed

 

• Coordinates that packed and packed orders are shipped in a timely manner or sends the manifest to the shipping department to call for the routing, cancel and adjust product that is not available

 

• Makes sure all trailers are closed at the end of the day

 

• Assists the supervisor in gathering and tracking daily employee hours for Clipper ship area including any Value Added Services for the weekly hours report sent to the Operations Manager

 

• Process “specialty” order shipments (domestic and international shipments sent via UPS, RPS, FedEx ground, FedEx overnight, red label orders) using the Clipper ship system or hand writing international shipments

 

• Determines method of shipment based on instructions on Pick Ticket

 

• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons and assures special shipping instructions are followed

 

• Monitors inventory levels of shipping supplies, materials & notifies manager before running out

 

• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications

• Assures proper documentation (e.g. commercial invoices) is included for international shipment
