General Labor Associate
Place furniture on the showroom floor as specified by the VPM.
Pay : $17.50
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM
Job Description:
- Moving furniture – assemble and disassemble as needed
- Load & unload customer purchases – demonstrates a customer focus
- Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs or more with assistance (team lift)
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, climb and walk frequently
- Open to janitorial/cleaning duties (empty trash, replenish paper, floor mopping, vacuuming, dusting, general bathroom cleaning)
- Capable of doing different tasks – other duties as assigned
- Assist with organizing the showroom
- Maintain the back-room storage area in a neat and orderly manner
- Complete inventory paperwork
- Climb ladders to hang accessories, change bulbs, and other minor maintenance work
- Understand and maintain all safe work practices and rules
- Ability to carry out instructions and to follow through
