Seeking a Business Development Representative for Temecula and Perris Market
Compensation: Salary range from $65k-$80k (depending on experience)
The Business Development Representative is responsible for providing full end-to-end customer sales and account management. The role generates new business through outside sales activities such as cold calls, territory planning, and relationship building. This position focuses on and generates new business through new sales and account growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Attracts new and maintains existing customer relationships via phone, social media, face-to-face meetings and email (is aware of social selling index via LinkedIn)
- Engages with decision makers (typically up to the Supervisor level) during buying process
- Leverages all known resources and in-house tools to identify and obtain new customers
- Engages in pre-calling by researching prospects and identifying stakeholders in order to generate interest and create rapport while demonstrating an understanding of the customer’s priorities
- Manage sales, of small to medium deal sizes, across matrixed and complex business environments
- Secure sales, then executes customer engagement activities and initiates QBR process
- Finds opportunities to provide upsell and cross sell to new and existing customers
- Maximizes volume and revenue in existing accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods
- Builds and maintains internal cross-functional partnerships and utilizes internal resources to navigate processes and relationships
- Engages with industry-relevant networking groups, trade associations, and social media groups
