Description
The Medical equipment process technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, processing and the quality control of medical equipment, products, and bedding. The PT will be troubleshooting equipment and making minor repairs to using hand tools. This position will play a key role in ensuring the company’s products are in compliance with infection control procedures.
Job Requirements:
Clean, disinfect and Sanitize the hospital beds.
Perform quality control checks of medical equipment and products
Trouble shoot and make minor repairs
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.
Using strong cleaning chemicals/ disinfectants
Quality control and inspecting product
Requirements:
Ability to read, write and speak English
Pass drug test and background check
Have reliable transportation as bus does not run on route.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Proven experience with MS office, word, excel and outlook; experience using handheld computing devices.
Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written communication)
Proven hands-on technical skills; use of hand tools to trouble shoot and perform minor repairs
MUST be able to lift 55 lbs. and carry 50 lbs. consistency throughout shift.
