Seasonal Sit-Down Clamp Operator (Samsung Electronics Distribution)

Location: University Park, IL 
Assignment Type: Seasonal – Position Ends Late December
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime required as needed (weekdays and/or Saturdays)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Sit-Down Clamp Operator to join our team for the busy holiday season. This is a seasonal position expected to run through the end of December, with potential for overtime as peak season ramps up.

You’ll be working with Samsung electronic products, so careful handling and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down clamp forklift and utilize RF scanners to complete daily tasks

• Load, unload, put away, and pick products accurately and safely

• Ensure product integrity by handling all electronics with extreme care

• Verify pick tickets, scanner data, location codes, and labels for accuracy

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Lift up to 50 pounds and adapt quickly to changes in workload or task assignments

Requirements:

• Clamp truck experience preferred, but highly skilled sit-down forklift operators with a willingness to learn will be considered

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Flexibility to work overtime during peak season (voluntary initially, then mandatory as needed)

• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
