 A loader and unloader is a person who works in a warehouse and receiving / shipping operation. This person is responsible for helping to load freight onto and or off truck containers to be transported away. He or she also helps unload freight shipped to the warehouse facility to be palletized, hauled and stored in freight racks to be utilized by order fillers at a later date.

Job Title: Loader/Unloader Compensation: $12.50 Work Schedule – Mon thru Thurs 6pm to 4:30am Job Description: • Operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. • Ensure accuracy and quality of work in all assigned job functions.. • Move product to storage areas and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area. • Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area. • Complete other duties as assigned by warehouse leads or Management staff. Task to Perform: • High School diploma/(GED) or equivalent experience required. • Good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs. safely. • Good hand-eye coordination and good motor skills.

Job Requirements


  • Unloading /  Loading trailers by hand
  • Load freight by hand in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Palletizing and wrapping freight
  • Verifying freight as it is received or shipped
  • Labeling freight with the correct labels
  • Use of pallet jack or cart to transport freight in the warehouse
  • Complete other duties as assigned by warehouse leads or Management staff.
  • Clean up of dock and set up of dock for following shifts
  •  Ensure accuracy and quality of work in all assigned job functions.
  • Working in a safe productive manner


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Must arrive at scheduled shift start time
  • Must be able to follow all safety guides and company policies
  • Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours)
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out simple instructions from oral instructions or written direction by dock leads and or supervisor.
