Job Description:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 1 years' active Inventory Coordinator experience experience within the last 3 years
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
• Checks and prepares order materials for shipping.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records and order forms.
• Create shipping labels and documentation for outbound products including international shipments
• Data entry into inventory and warehouse management systems
• Perform daily cycle count activities, inventory audits, and prepares inventory reports
• Verifies clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts
• Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Must troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
• Employee must be able to safely work in a high volume/fast paced environment.
• Must be able to verify quantity, identify products, and assess the quality of goods; while demonstrating accurate inventory recording.
• Must be able to work in a respectful team environment with an emphasis on safety.

Qualifications:

About the position:

The Inventory Control Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to, functions pertaining to the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines.

Additional responsibilities include the monitoring and movement of physical inventory in order to maintain inventory accuracy, and the coordination of an accurate inventory, including but not limited to physical inventory, and High Jump.

Communicates with customer on inventory related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.

Functions :

• Report any conditions deemed to be unsafe to the Operations Manager or General Manager

• Ensures associates monthly safety training, and fleet safety training, if applicable

• Misc. tasks as assigned by senior management

• Open and/or secure the building as required

• Conduct the building security audit as required

• Directs inventory staff in completion of work to meet customer expectations

• Ensures issues are communicated as required

• Oversees returns and damage area daily to ensure completion of all product put away

• Maintain carton inventory if applicable

• Review and maintain hours in timekeeping system as required

• Oversees the accuracy of all RDC inventory of both inbound and outbound product via Audits and cycle counts

• Lead efforts for root cause analysis within the operation with regards to inventory discrepancies, including research and resolution. Tools used include CPAR, A3 and 8D processes to determine root cause and resolution

• Ensures that all associates are trained and following all CPs, K-WINs, and Standard Work as outlined in the Kenco Quality Management System (KQMS) in addition to EIP, LM, LEAN and Six Sigma.

• Consolidate quality hold product, if applicable

• Coordinate zoning of physical inventory, as required

• May be required to fill-in or replace the Supervisor on another shift, or at another facility.

• Coordinate stow consolidations to create space in the warehouse as needed • Organize and oversee physical inventories as directed by our customer Proactively communicate to appropriate management issues/concerns.

• Manage and issue mid-year and annual reviews.

About the Position

The Labor Management System (LMS) Coordinator position is critical to the success and sustainability of the LMS program at each site. While overall ownership of the LMS at each site rests with leadership team, the LMS Coordinator is the trained, empowered and supported individual who has the responsibility to implement, drive, sustain and continually improve the LMS program at the site.

 Functions

• Serves as the management representative of the LMS program
• Serves as the primary point of contact for the site’s LMS
• Reports to the site Operations Manager
• Must complete all designated training requirements
• Responsible for coordinating and supporting initial and on-going training for every aspect of LMS at the site
• Works in conjunction with the site Quality Coordinator to ensure documentation and training is completed in a timely fashion.
• Directs and maintains process development, evaluation and resulting observations at the site
• Works with the site-dedicated Engineer to develop, maintain and update work standards, as necessary
• Performs and directs data collection and analysis at the site
• Prepares documentation for supervisors to meet with their employees on a regular basis to review their individual LMS performance.

Tracks employee performance and compliance to the site accountability structure as it pertains to the LMS program; prepares OFI documentation to be approved by HR and administered by the site supervisors

• Based on the number of associates within a given accountability step, makes recommendations to site management about hiring and staffing plans
• Prepares and maintains the appropriate reports as needed for proper fulfillment of the job
• Practices safe work procedures and always follow all safety rules
• Reports any unsafe conditions or injury to management
• Misc. tasks as assigned by management.

 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months to one-year warehouse or distribution center experience
• Forklift experience preferred.
