Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator for one of our clients on the Westside of Jacksonville, FL.

Hours: 8am-4:30pm

Pay: $18.00/hr

SUMMARY: 

Responsible for providing proactive and excellent customer service to assigned accounts

Assisting with scheduling inbound and outbound shipments with Customer’s Carrier’s (including LTL and TL shipments) if applicable

Managing invoices and billing documents.

Responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc.

Helps implement Company Quality, Safety, and Customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s.).

Coordinates with vendors, sales staff, customer service representatives, billing representatives, warehouses and shippers, as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

--Maintain consistent contact with clients and agents.

--Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer for account and operational needs and work to resolve any discrepancies between the two.

-Develop/maintain productive relationships with clients, vendors, agents, and industry partners. 

tracking order status, addressing cancellations, resolving order issues, maintaining documentation, and providing proactive customer support.

--Maintain and adhere to company SOP’s and Quality Assurance process and guidelines for all Customers and warehouse activities, including order specs, shipping requirements, and communication (systems/email/phone) specific to each customer

--Support onboarding process for new customers.

--Maintain damage records, backorder logs, and any applicable regulatory reporting as needed.

--Identify and recommend process improvements.

--Coordinate with corporate billing staff to ensure all warehouse accounts are billed accurately and timely.

--May review/prepare billing as needed

Job Description:

Compiles carrier and route assignments. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments. Successfully conducts and completes all assigned trainings. Participates in continuous improvement training and trains others.

Responsibilities:

• Addresses underlying customer's administrative, shipping, and storage needs by managing their account via WMS.
• Responsible for providing proactive and excellent customer service to all accounts, assisting with scheduling inbound and outbound shipments with customer's carriers.
• Managing costumer's invoices and billing documents.
• Supports the corporate quality initiative with the OS&D program -Help implement company quality, safety, and costumer SOP's -Coordinate with vendors, sales staff, CSR, billing representatives, warehouses and shoppers as needed.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with best practices in supply chain management
• Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient.
• Comfort using common logistics management software. 
• Strong customer service capabilities
• Understanding of both warehouse and transportation management
• Capacity to multitask.

Remedy Staffing is hiring for Shipping Clerks to work at one of our Distribution warehouses on the Northside! This position will require the employee to prepare outgoing shipments, organize inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday

Pay: $15/hr

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

• Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
• Prepares paperwork for shipments
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
