Job Opening: Regrind Operator

First 2 weeks training daytime – then M-F 2:30p – 11ish (swing shift) – potential for OT. Starting rate $24.29 – some hours will have differential of $2.50

The available position requires the ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment. Previous forklift and/or heavy equipment experience preferred. Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day (including some weekends and holidays). Must be 18 years or older. A valid driver’s license is required. We are looking for detail-oriented candidates who have a demonstrated work history of shift work, in addition to working injury free and following workplace/plant safety practices and procedures. Experience in a manufacturing environment – plastics extrusion process experience is a plus.

Responsibilities Job duties include, but not limited to: • Safety – must participate in daily safety routines (both as an individual and team member) • Use of basic hand and power tools (including chainsaw) • Assist teammates as required. Required Qualifications • General knowledge and experience using various types of hand tools. • Basic computer and math skills • A demonstrated history of learning and applying new information and technology with math and learning skills • Proficient in communication in the English language (both verbal and written) • Capable of lifting approximately 50 lbs. waist high without an assist • Capable of standing for long periods of time on concrete flooring • Capable of climbing of ladder • Use/drive forklifts, pallet jacks, bins and platform ladders
