Job Opening: Domestic Transportation Agent
Description
ProLogistix is seeking a Domestic Transportation Associate to join our 3PL logistics team at our Sumner, WA facility.
Shift Details: Monday through Friday| 8:00AM-5:00PM | $25-$30 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
- Selecting transportation methods based on cost, speed, and product requirements.
- Tracking and tracing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Managing freight documentation, such as bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Ensuring compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Resolving delivery issues or transportation delays.
- Negotiating rates and service agreements with domestic carriers.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience with domestic freight carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel, etc.).
- Proficient with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with freight tracking tools and carrier portals.
- Strong understanding of domestic shipping methods and carrier services.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, freight classifications, and routing principles.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with carriers, internal departments, and customers effectively.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving delivery issues and shipment delays.
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

- Ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously
