Job Opening: Domestic Transportation Agent

ProLogistix is seeking a Domestic Transportation Associate to join our 3PL logistics team at our Sumner, WA facility.

Shift Details: Monday through Friday| 8:00AM-5:00PM | $25-$30 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
• Selecting transportation methods based on cost, speed, and product requirements.
• Tracking and tracing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Managing freight documentation, such as bills of lading and shipping labels.
• Ensuring compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Resolving delivery issues or transportation delays.
• Negotiating rates and service agreements with domestic carriers.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience with domestic freight carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel, etc.).
• Proficient with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with freight tracking tools and carrier portals.
• Strong understanding of domestic shipping methods and carrier services.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, freight classifications, and routing principles.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with carriers, internal departments, and customers effectively.
• Skilled in identifying and resolving delivery issues and shipment delays.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
