Pay Rate: $20/hour
The Dock Clerk (CSR) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of inbound and outbound shipments at the distribution center. This position is responsible for tracking shipments, preparing documentation, communicating with drivers and warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate records of all dock activity.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal departments.

Check in and check out drivers, verifying load information and proper documentation.

Ensure accurate and timely entry of shipment data into warehouse management systems (WMS).

Maintain organized records of bills of lading, manifests, shipping labels, and delivery receipts.

Communicate with warehouse staff regarding dock availability, load priorities, and special handling instructions.

Inspect trailers for cleanliness and safety compliance before and after loading.

Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies or delays.

Maintain a clean and organized dock office and work area.

Comply with all safety procedures and company policies.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

1–3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or warehousing

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
