Day Shift contract

• Wednesday – Saturday 
• 6am to 4:30PM

2^nd Shift contract

• Wednesday – Saturday 
• 6PM – 4:30AM

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Stand-up forklift operator to move packages and material around the facilities. You will be operating a Stand-up forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. In addition you will spend 80% or more time palletizing and hand sorting.

You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proven experience as a stand-up forklift operator
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• Follow safety guidelines
• Operate in narrow aisles
• Use handheld scanners or onboard computers
• Stand for an entire shift
• Follow warehouse systems and processes
• Consistently meet productivity standards

• 2 years Stand up Forklift Experience
• Steel Toe Boots
• Knowledge of proper forklift safety skills
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Attention to details
• Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse
