Sugar refinery manufacturing plants in need of a MIG/TIG Welder with Stainless Steel experience to join metal components using various welding techniques, ensuring the quality and accuracy of welds, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This also includes interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, operating welding equipment, and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Sanitary welding
• Clamp, hold Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind and/or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Maintains weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
• Weld pipe by method of tungsten in welding (TIG).
• Ability to maintain dimensions and tolerances to specifications. Ability to weld dissimilar metals. Ability to weld parts and structures that vary in size, shape and thickness.
• Knowledge of a wide range of welding principles, processes, and difficult techniques requiring complete penetration and fusion of base and filler metals
