Job Opening: Welder

Sugar refinery manufacturing plant is in need of a Welder to join metal components using various welding techniques, ensuring the quality and accuracy of welds, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This also includes interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, operating welding equipment, and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

?Possess the ability to speak, read, and write in English.

?3 years of Experience as a welder in a fabrication manufacturing or structural environment.

?Sanitary welding

?Clamp, hold Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind and/or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.

?Maintains weld machines using preventative maintenance methods

?Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment

?Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material

?Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers

? Weld pipe by method of tungsten in welding (TIG).

?Ability to maintain dimensions and tolerances to specifications. Ability to weld dissimilar metals. Ability to weld parts and structures that vary in size, shape and thickness.

?Knowledge of a wide range of welding principles, processes, and difficult techniques requiring complete penetration and fusion of base and filler metals
