Experienced Shipping & Receiving Sit-down Forklift Operators needed in Baytown!

Job Specifics:

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will be responsible for inbound orders, outbound orders, inventory management, storage and accurate documentation of packaged material from a conveyor line.

Experience Requirements:

Must have at least one year of forklift experience in shipping & receiving warehouse environment.

Candidates should be able to efficiently load a minimum of nine containers per shift and be proficient in using a tablet for operational tasks.

A strong commitment to quality is essential

Job duties:

– Take packaged material from line to container.

– Inspect container before loading.

– Transfer heavy material to production line when needed.

– Ensure all dock operations are performed in a safe matter.

– Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.

– Occasionally assist the production line with special projects

– Inspect equipment daily and frequently.

– Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service including the ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.

– Must have the capability to show up on time for work and complete projects without breaching due dates.

Pay rate: $16.50/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (need to be available for weekends when required) 7:00am-7:00pm. Adherence to work schedule contributes to team’s productivity and efficiency.
