Cherry Pickers needed for prestigious client in Oxford, NC!

Hours: Mon – Fri 6am – 2:30pm

Pay: $17.50

Job Summary:

The Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for safely operating a cherry picker (order picker forklift) to retrieve and store materials in high storage racks within a warehouse. The role involves picking orders, moving inventory, and maintaining accurate stock levels while adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities of Cherry Picker:

Operate a cherry picker forklift to pick and place materials in designated locations.
Accurately fulfill customer or internal orders based on pick tickets or electronic systems.
Ensure correct labeling and packaging of picked items.
Perform pre-operational safety checks and report any mechanical issues.
Load and unload materials from pallets, shelves, and racks.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Maintain inventory accuracy by properly recording moved items.
Follow company procedures and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in other warehouse duties such as receiving, packing, or cycle counting as needed.

Requirements for Cherry Pickers:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Valid forklift/cherry picker certification (or ability to obtain one).
Proven experience operating a cherry picker/order picker lift (typically 1+ years).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (up to 30 feet).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime, if required.

Working Conditions:

Indoor warehouse setting.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the facility.
