Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position involves handling various tasks in a cold storage environment, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping goods. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in refrigerated and frozen conditions and can perform physically demanding tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments • Pick and pack orders accurately based on pick lists or instructions • Safely load and unload trucks and containers • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (if certified) • Record inventory movement, complete paperwork accurately, and assist with inventory control • Communicate with supervisors and team members, providing updates on order status and collaborating on process improvements • Follow all company food safety and general safety procedures • Assist other departments when needed • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse • Work in cold storage environments (refrigerated and frozen sections) Requirements: • Previous experience in warehouse or cold storage operations preferred • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks • Comfortable working in cold temperatures for extended periods • Basic English communication skills (reading/speaking) • Strong attention to detail and work ethic • Forklift certification is a plus • Reliable transportation to and from work daily • Ability to work in proper personal protective equipment for your work area including, but not limited to, protective toe footwear, outerwear, hairnets, and facial coverings Compensation and Benefits: • Hourly wage: $19–$23 (depending on experience) • Full-time benefits include Medical and Dental insurance, paid vacation, and paid sick leave • Benefits become available after a 90-day probationary period Work Conditions: • Cold storage environment (temperatures may range from 0°F to 40°F / -18°C to 4°C) • Person
