Job Opening: CNC Machinist Needed for Direct Hire Position in Riverport

Experienced CNC machine operator needed for facility located in Riverport. GREAT opportunity to work for a GREAT company, with GREAT pay!!

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4pm

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture high-precision tooling components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Load raw materials, set up tools and fixtures, and execute machining programs with attention to process accuracy and repeatability.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models to validate part geometry and tolerance requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

Technical education or vocational training in CNC machining or a related field

Minimum of one year of hands-on CNC operating experience in precision manufacturing environment

Mechanical background

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T knowledge preferred)

Proficient with metric system measurements and tight-tolerance machining

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and handle tooling and parts regularly
