Job Opening: Order Picker

Order Picker Operator must possess a thorough knowledge of processes procedures associated with supple, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for various functions associated with shipping, receiving, and the packaging of inbound/outbound shipments along with various housekeeping duties. Requirements: • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language; conversational Spanish. • Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). • Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55 – 100 lbs. • Warehouse environment: in and outdoor with possible extreme weather conditions. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment. • Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business. • Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start of shift. • Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the organization including but not limited to general labor, loading/unloading, sorting, picking, and stocking. • Must pass the client Order Picker Exam for both theory and practice. • Must have a valid/current driver’s license. • Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service, including the ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner within diversified situations. • Pick items from warehouse locations using scanner following internal system. • Securely pack items and prepare for shipment registering with scanner. • A heavy attention to detail ensuring orders are picked and packed correctly with minimal mistakes. • Must keep constant flow of orders while loading goods into containers.

Available to work some Saturdays and be flexible with shift changes.
