Job Opening: WA1 Gen Warehouse

1ST SHIFT- 5:00AM TO 3:00PM and some Saturdays

*SHIFT TIMES WILL CONFLICT WITH BUS SCHEDULES*

Duties include:

• Accurately pick items based on order tickets or scanner directions

• Pack merchandise securely using proper materials and methods

• Label and prepare packages for shipment

• Keep up with productivity and accuracy goals

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures

• Use handheld scanners and warehouse equipment as needed

• Load and unload trailers manually or with powered equipment

• Lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 75 lbs regularly

• Inspect boxes for visible damage or defects before processing

• Work on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift, every day

• Operate efficiently in a non-climate controlled warehouse

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace

• Support team goals by collaborating with others and maintaining productivity

• Requires the ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions. Involves the use of elementary arithmetic.
• Familiarity with use of contemporary merchandise processing equipment (i.e. hand- held scanners)
• Familiarity with use of warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
• Ability to learn computer processing systems.
• Ability to work efficiently
• Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to process problem cartons and to resolve identified discrepancies.
• Physical Essential Function (Lifting): Frequent 0 - 30lbs; Occasional 30 - 75lbs
• Six months experience in the same or related tasks is preferable.
