Job Opening: Receiving Clerk

ProLogistix is currently hiring Receiving Clerks to take on day shift job opportunities in Hanahan. These are career opportunities supporting distribution of various products received and stored in the warehouse. Reporting, counting, inventory control, and document control are critical for success. Opportunity to advance into a forklift operator or even Team Lead could be in your future!

Pay:  $20.00 per hour (Unlimited referral bonuses!)

Day Shift: 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5 pm

Job Duties as a Receiving Clerk for ProLogistix:

• Processing and input of all customer orders.
• Maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments
• Generating reports as needed by the operations team
• Generate work orders, quality control of reporting and documentation, accuracy of data is critical
• Data entry is timely and accurate
• Receive outgoing order requests and notify management personnel of product shortages
• Maintain damage records and backorder logs
• Work in a fast-paced team environment, acting as a liaison between the warehouse and customer
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Organizing and storing shipments

Job Requirements for Receiving Clerk:

• Lifting requirement is 50 pounds
• Will be working in a warehouse environment – hot in summer and cold in winter
• Sit or stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Successful utilization of Warehouse Management System, order sheets, pick tickets, and Microsoft Excel
• May stay late or work on weekends
• Work with a sense of urgency to meet production demands
• PPE required is steel-toe boots, safety vest while in warehouse
