Description

Employbridge has a Maintenance Technician opportunity available in Spartanburg, SC. This is an 18 month project that could lead to full time employment. As a Maintenance Technician you will ensure optimal performance and reliability of production equipment, facility infrastructure, and support systems. This role is vital to minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement in a safe, efficient work environment.

Location: Spartanburg, SC
Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd (with all new hires training on 1st shift for ~2–6 weeks)
Pay Rate: $22–$27/hr (based on experience, skills, and shift)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, HVAC systems, and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance promptly

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred but not required
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with PLCs, motors, pumps, and conveyors
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software
Experience in preventative maintenance and pneumatic systems
