Job Opening: Order Picker Forklift

EXPERIENCED ORDER PICKER FORKLIFT DRIVERS NEEDED   

Location:

• Mooresville – Clayton – easy access right off of Interstate 70

Pay:

• $20.00 per hour 
• Overtime opportunities available (Both Mandatory and Voluntary)

Shift: EVENING Shift 

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00 pm – 2:30 am 

Job Responsibilities:

• 3 months of forklift experience in the last 12 months
• Ability to work and complete general labor job duties
• Flexible to complete work needed both on and off the forklift
• Maintains clean work area.
• Pallet building and pallet picks.
• Loads goods onto conveyer belts.
• Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material.
• Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.
• Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked.
• Determines when repairs need to be made on equipment.
• Rotates stock so that oldest items are shipped or sold first.
• Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers, rail cars, and cargo ships.
• Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages.
• Utilizes radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory.
• Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport.
• Weighs and records weights of products.
• Analyzes productions schedules to determine timely transportation of materials and products.
• Documents arrival, departure, and movement and storage of goods, checks trucking manifests and bills of lading, maintains inventory, and tracks fulfillment of customer and vendor orders.

Job Requirements: 

• You will be on the forklift anywhere from 30-70% of the time and will require you to lift, bend, squat, reach, and walk where needed
• Operate equipment safely
• Conduct yourself professionally 
• Ability to receive feedback and instruction 
• Ability to fluently communicate in English and Spanish

• Steel Toe Shoes
