Job Title: Assembler
Location: White Bear Lake, MN Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-To-Hire Compensation: $20.00/HR Shifts: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Position Summary
The Assembler is responsible for performing high-level, repetitive work to quality standards in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves assembling HVAC products and sub-assemblies in accordance with predetermined methods and sequences. The Assembler must be able to adapt to a variety of tasks and support production goals in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies using standard work instructions and diagrams.
- Follow verbal and written directions while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Detect product defects and unsafe conditions using sight, sound, and smell.
- Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools required for assembly.
- Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets (OMS), and other production documentation.
- Use measuring devices such as tape measures and levels to ensure component accuracy.
- Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance of tools and equipment; submit repair work orders when needed.
- Load and unload components using carts, hoists, and fork trucks.
- Perform general housekeeping in the work area and support 5S principles.
- Participate in quality checks and product testing as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on process enhancements.
- Perform additional duties such as brazing, soldering, and machine operation when required.
- Assist other team members as directed and work collaboratively across departments.
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools (wrenches, crimpers, cutters) and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and maintenance instructions
- Basic math skills and computer proficiency required
- Experience with forklifts, hoists, or skyjacks is a plus

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
