Job Opening: Saw Operator

Client in Youngsville area looking for Saw Operators with experience.

8am – 5pm Monday – Friday $17/hr

The Saw Operator is responsible for accurately cutting aluminum materials to precise measurements according to work orders. This role involves programming the saw to exact specifications, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders and blueprints to determine required measurements and cutting specifications.

• Program the saw by entering exact measurements into the control panel.

• Operate saw equipment to cut aluminum to required dimensions.

• Verify measurements using appropriate tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.).

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on saw equipment.

• Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working around loud machinery and in various temperatures.

• Previous experience operating an industrial saw preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measuring tools.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
