Job Opening: Equipment Operator

ProLogistix has immediate full-time opportunities for Heavy Equipment Quality Inspectors in the Wilmington area!  These are career opportunities with potential for growth and advancement.  Work 1st shift, M-F with weekends off!

Pay:  $18.00/hr – $19.00/hr, DOE (plus wage increase when convert to permanent staff and additional benefits)

Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities as a Heavy Equipment Quality Inspector for ProLogistix:

• Primary responsibility is for the quality inspection of heavy equipment
• Will inspect, test, diagnose and repair equipment such as electrical, hydraulic and plumbing systems
• Inspect and document all defects
• Utilize a variety of of tools while demonstrating mechanically inclined skills
• Managing inbound and outbound documents for equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and quality control experience

Job Requirements as a Heavy Equipment Quality Inspector for ProLogistix:

• Need to be mechanically inclined
• Must replace vales, put attachments on, use hand tools
• May be driving the equipment when needed
• Willing to work inside and outside in inclement weather
• Able to lift 40+lbs throughout the day
• Ability to operate a forklift or be trained if needed
• Great mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail is very critical

Prior experience in fast paced production environment such as a quick lube or service techs from car dealership is a big plus.  Also, if worked at car dealership, pep boys, small engine lawnmower repair, this will benefit the experience we're looking for.
