Job Opening: Distribution Specialist
Description
Seeking immediate Distribution Specialists to join our winter apparel supplier in Des Moines, WA.
Tuesday-Friday:8:00am-6:30pm or Monday-Thursday:6am-4:30pm
Pay: $20/hr
The Distribution Specialist is an essential team role. The Distribution Specialist is responsible for various warehouse duties: receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, including the safe operation of material handling equipment, forklifts, order selectors/pickers, reach/turret trucks and the use of handheld scanning equipment and software.
Responsibilities
- Unload and sort product from containers
- Put away finished Product from unload process
- Pick and fill customer orders with RF handheld
- Package and box orders in preparation for shipment
- Ship Orders through our ERP
- Complete a Year End Physical Inventory
- Operate and Maintain Forklift and other machinery
- Assist as needed with inspection of returned products
- Assist as needed with repair of warranty returned products
- Maintain a work environment that focuses on Cleanliness, Safety, and 5S Practices
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to work overtime.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures independently.
- Demonstrated experience and willingness to ensure a safe working environment for coworkers, self, and product.
- Ability to stand, lift, and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 20-50 pounds.
