Job Opening: Furniture Repair Technician (Aurora)

ProLogistix is looking for a Furniture Repair Tech in the Aurora Area for a temp to hire opportunity!!!

Pay: $24-$28/hr DOE

Schedule: Sunday and Monday 6AM-3PM Tuesday-Saturday 7AM-3PM

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and assess furniture damage, including wood, metal, upholstery, and composite materials.
• Perform repairs and restorations on various types of furniture.
• Execute specialized tasks, such as leather and fabric repair and refinishing.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in furniture repair, woodworking, or upholstery.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in furniture repair.
• Strong knowledge of wood, leather, fabric, and other furniture materials.
• Advanced understanding of wood finishing, including color and stain matching.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, kneeling, and moving heavy items.
