Job Opening: Maintenance

Handyman $18.50 an hour Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment, tools, and facility systems. Conduct basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work as needed. Inspect and repair doors, locks, shelving, and workstations. Assist with assembly, installation, and relocation of equipment and furniture. Ensure warehouse floors, lighting, and work areas are in good condition. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime of equipment. Coordinate with vendors or contractors for larger repairs when necessary. Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Qualifications: Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Ability to operate tools, power equipment, and lifts safely. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Preferred Skills: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience in a warehouse or industrial environment. Basic computer or mobile app skills for logging maintenance tasks.
