Qualifications:
- 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical.
- Attention to detail is a top priority.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service
- Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics.
Responsibilities:
Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist Job Description:
As a receptionist, in a global supply chain management company, you will be responsible for the task below.
- Receptionist candidate must have a high attention to detail and wellness to go above and beyond to ensure that customers and clients receive the highest level of customer service.
- Welcome visitors by greeting all visitors, sub-contractors, vendors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquires. Heavy phone/multiple line system.
- Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to handle stress tolerance.
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements, in and out of organization.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.
- Assist with special client tour events.
- Send packets out to customers.
- Receive and sort mail.
- Tidy and maintain the reception area.
- Prepare FedEx labels for outgoing envelopes.
- Endorse and log incoming checks into spreadsheet.
- Reconcile visitor log and make sure all badges are accounted for throughout the day.
- Assign PO # to all purchases.
- Order supplies through local vendors. Order supplies, and keep inventory of supplies.
- Maintain/Update extension list when alternative contact numbers.
- Make labels for personnel files, and name plates.
- Maintain temp hire and termination dates.
- Maintain active and terminated photos of employees on the FDrive.
- Place 911 calls as needed.
