Location: Bedford Park, IL

Schedule: Full-time | Overtime as needed

Are you looking for a hands-on, fast-paced job where your hard work makes a difference every day? JB Hunt is seeking dedicated General Labor Associates to join our team supporting The Home Depot Flatbed Distribution Center.

What You’ll Do

As a General Labor Associate, you’ll work with a variety of building materials such as lumber, conduit, shingles, Hardie board, and other bulk products. Your day-to-day will include:

Working outdoors under a covered tarping station and along the rail line in all weather conditions
Strapping, securing, and preparing flatbed trailers for safe shipment
Tying down empty rail cars and ensuring all loads meet safety and quality standards
Collaborating with your team to complete tasks efficiently and safely

What We’re Looking For

Ability to stand and perform physical work throughout the entire shift
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly (and team-lifting items over 50 lbs)
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Team player with great attention to detail
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Safety-first mindset — always focused on doing the job the right way
