PROLOGISTIX IS LOOKING FOR A TEMPORARY MAINTENANCE TECH FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS –
RESUME AND INTERVIEW REQUIRED
$28-$25 hourly based off skillset and experience and 1st shift hours!
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all associates are expected to conform to the following:
Temporary- 60 days.
- Adhere to all environmental and safety policies/procedures and immediately report any violations. Perform all work with the mindset of safety first.
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other associates, customers and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordinating work efforts with other associates and organizations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Perform preventive maintenance to Injection Machines, Auxiliary Equipment and Building per preventive maintenance program
Troubleshoot all machine related problems.
Responsible for maintaining inventory of components, equipment, tools, materials and parts needed to respond promptly to issues
Request equipment repair/replacement quotes
Responsible to assist subcontractors/outside vendors for DA, assist with any repairs necessary through our shop or outside vendor
Responsible for the 5S of the Maintenance Shop area, including machinery and equipment
Perform periodically equipment audits
Responsible for evaluation service upon receipt from outside contractors to verify service quality and/or repair quality as applicable
Report to Injection Molding Machines, Assembly Machines, Auxiliary Equipment and Building problems promptly
Maintain all maintenance files (Ex. Maintenance Work orders, PM tracking, equipment histories, etc.)
Inspect systems in use to detect problem, complete maintenance and recommend solutions
Assist in modifications related to molding machines, auxiliary equipment, assembly machines and building. (Ex. Adding ejector retract switches, air blow, safety gates, etc.)
Responsible to maintain in working condition all building equipment such as compressors, air dryers, water tower and chiller system. Report any abnormality and assure follow up on every repair.
Building Maintenance as required
Assist other departments in projects as necessary
Assist the Supervisor in improvement projects as needed to improve production efficiency and quality
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 – 2 yrs. Molding experience preferred.
Prior maintenance experience preferred
Good communication skills
Knowledge in mold structure and maintenance of molds.
Demonstrable mechanical aptitude
Hard working and fitting skills
Capable of completing projects with limited supervision
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
Must be capable to be certified in crane, scissor lift and forklift operation
Must be able to stand/walk greater than 8 hours a day.
Must be able to lift 60lbs.
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop push and pull frequently.
Must be able to wear safety shoes.
Must be able to perform finger and hand dexterity 80% in a 7.5 hour day
Must be able to wear hard hat, dusk mask, and ear plugs.
Must be able to wear safety glasses.
