- The Warehouse Supervisor needs to optimize warehousing processes and be an effective team leader, should be dependable, and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Supervising warehouse staff on daily activities and safety.
- Performing daily, and weekly, cycle counts
- Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
- Good customer service to all clients
- Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
- Ensure that all customer orders are completed and shipped in a timely manner.
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation and/or reports.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
- Ability to work standing long hours.
- Ability to lift 50 + lbs.
- Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in task of routine
