Job Opening: Material Handler

Prologistix has Material Handler positions available in Ellenwood, GA.

Shift is Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Pay is $17/hr.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly identified, handled, and dispatched in a timely manner.
• Navigate warehouse aisles efficiently, using handheld scanners or picking sheets to locate and select products according to customer orders. You will verify product accuracy, inspect items for damage or defects, and ensure that all picked items match the order specifications.
• Properly packaging items to prevent damage during transit, labeling packages clearly, and preparing them for shipment.
• Report inventory discrepancies and damaged products promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items safely.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read documentation and count.
