Operations Support Coordinator / Warehouse Support Specialist
Dayshift 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday $20
Position Summary
The Operations Support Coordinator / Warehouse Support Specialist serves as a key communication and coordination link between warehouse operations, on-site teams, and the client. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operational flow by relaying information, resolving routine issues, and ensuring alignment across workstations and client expectations. The position requires a strong floor presence, clear communication, and the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact between warehouse floor teams, operational leadership, and the client.
- Travel between workstations and departments to communicate priorities, updates, and operational changes.
- Support daily production and staffing coordination by identifying issues and escalating as needed.
- Respond to employee questions related to schedules, assignments, processes, and basic policy guidance.
- Assist with client requests, service concerns, and status updates to ensure expectations are met.
- Document operational issues, requests, and resolutions for leadership review.
- Partner with supervisors and leads to promote safety, productivity, and quality standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as reporting, data entry, and tracking operational metrics.
- Maintain a professional presence on the floor and reinforce company and client standards.
- Clear, timely communication between floor teams and the client.
- Reduced operational disruptions through proactive issue identification.
- Positive feedback from client contacts and internal leadership.
- Consistent adherence to safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations environment preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with hourly associates, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and moving throughout the facility.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to move throughout a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a coordinator, customer service, or operations support role.
- Familiarity with warehouse processes, production workflows, or labor coordination.
- Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
