Responsibilities:
- Supervises, assigns and reviews the work of employees engaged in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of components and finished goods.
- Gathers and assimilates pertinent information regarding the shipping schedule, logistics of materials, and components and or finished goods exiting or entering the facility.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of goods received, released and shipped.
- Schedule hourly shipping and receiving associates.
- Monitors time and attendance of hourly shipping and receiving associates.
- Track and maintain time and attendance through the appropriate time system(s).
- Ensure adherence to procedures, work instructions and forms.
- Must ensure Hilo/Fork-lift drivers are adequately trained on all shipping and receiving processes and procedures
- Provides support to the Materials Department as required
- Review plant layout to ensure all containers and materials are placed in proper location
- Accurately update the daily shipping schedule for each customer as to shipping schedules, times and finished goods inventory
- Train (as needed) on the MRP/ERP system to track inventory and shipping requirements
- Assist in the physical inventory activities
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as q Warehouse Supervisor or a related position • An Associate degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience
- Four (4) years of experience with MSOffice Suite (Word, excel, Email, and Spreadsheets) at an advance level
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience with basic material tracking software (accurately and proficiently performing data entry).
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
