Job Opening: Warehouse Associate – Scanner

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Scanner is responsible for accurately scanning, verifying, and preparing outbound orders to ensure all shipments are correct, complete, and ready for delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and clear communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and verify all outbound orders using warehouse scanning equipment.
• Ensure the accuracy of products, quantities, and labels before shipments leave the facility.
• Identify and report any shipping errors, missing items, or damaged merchandise.
• Organize scanned orders into the correct staging areas based on carrier requirements.
• Assist with basic packing tasks as needed.
• Help correct order errors to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must speak, read, and understand English.
• Willing to work a flexible shift.
• Willing and able to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to perform tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic computer skills for using scanning devices and warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• At least 6 months of experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
• At least 6 months of experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory system.
• Prior warehouse or scanning experience is preferred but not required.
