Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm (or until receiving is complete)
Language Requirement: Bilingual (English–Spanish)
Experience Requirement: Forklift experience required
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team in Prince George. This role is essential to ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has strong communication skills, and is experienced in forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload shipments from carriers
- Receive products systematically using company procedures
- Review shipping records, packaging, and labeling to confirm accuracy
- Verify that delivered goods match receiving documents
- Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and potential errors
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Label and store special-order products in the correct locations
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and paperwork
- Operate a Yale Reach Truckl to move, stage, and store products safely
