Job Opening: Maintenance Laborer

Location: Baytown, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday (occasional OT), 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr. (Pay is weekly, every Friday!)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Laborer / Electrical Helper to assist our on-site electrician with daily projects and work orders. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in an industrial environment and grow their skills in electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the electrician with electrical projects and assigned work orders
• Support installation, repair, and maintenance tasks under supervision
• Perform general labor duties related to electrical and facility work
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use basic hand and power tools as required

Requirements:

• Previous hands-on electrical or general labor experience preferred
• Electrician apprentice license is a plus, but not required
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts is strongly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required throughout the shift
• Ability to work in an industrial environment
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
