Job Opening: Operations Manager

Prologistix is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support our 3PL logistics client in Sumner, WA. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, ensures service excellence, and leads a high-performing team in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, financial acumen, and deep industry experience within logistics or 3PL operations.

Schedule: Friday-Monday, 11:00AM-10:00PM |  Pay: $40/hr 

Essential Job Functions

• Lead, direct, and manage daily operations to ensure service agreements are executed at or above client standards.
• Maximize profitability through superior service, effective communication, and timely follow-up on all operational matters.
• Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules; adjust as needed to meet operational demands and business objectives.
• Manage revenue and expenses within budget constraints.
• Train, develop, and motivate employees to achieve peak performance and expand their skill sets.
• Oversee financial aspects of the department, including purchasing, budget preparation, financial reporting, and expense monitoring.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Consistent performance under stress while maintaining professionalism and organizational standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to talk, hear, and use hands to operate a computer and related equipment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus as needed.
• Ability to walk throughout the warehouse and inspect freight.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience required.
• Minimum 6 years of industry experience in logistics, distribution, or 3PL operations.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required.
