Job Opening: Janitorial

ProLogistix is currently hiring Janitors in Bolingbrook, IL 

1st Shift Position! 

Hours: Monday- Friday 6am – 230pm 

Pay Rate: $18/hour 

Job Description: 
Wash and disinfect washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, soap dispensers, paper towel dispenser, toilet tissue dispensers, countertops, sinks, fixtures, and mirrors; replenish all toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap
•
Wash and disinfect all lunchroom tables, chairs, and floors; dust furniture and fixtures; wash fingerprints from walls, doors, hardware, and glass; clean and polish all stainless steel and chrome
•
Routinely empty waste baskets and garbage containers
•
Maintain the cleanliness of the entrances and exits of the work areas by keeping them free of garbage, snow, and debris
•
Sweep, mop, and buff all floors utilizing floor scrubber when necessary
•
Clean machines, factory equipment, and surrounding area; assist with clean-up during machine malfunction/breakdown as required
•
Break down and recycle/dispose of pallets, boxes, and any other larger items
•
Perform weekly housekeeping items inventory check as instructed per plant management
•
Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures; adhere to OSHA’s bloodborne pathogen regulation for cleaning, response to, and disposal of blood/bodily fluids and chemical exposure and labeling/handling
•
Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment
•
Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends
•
Communicate clearly and work as part
