**Production Cutter – Select Staffing

Richmond, CA | Full-Time | SU–TH, 2:30 PM–Finish**

Pay Range: $19–$25/hr
Top-tier cutters may earn up to $35/hr

Select Staffing is partnering with a leading meat production facility in Northern California to fill an immediate Production Cutter opening in Richmond, CA. This role is ideal for individuals with strong knife skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and food safety.

Position Summary

The Production Cutter plays a key role in preparing specialty meat cuts according to customer specifications. This position ensures accuracy, consistency, and adherence to strict food safety standards while supporting a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Select products from pick tickets and stage items for production
• Cut meat products to precise customer specifications
• Transport finished cuts to the appropriate packaging line using carts
• Weigh and verify product accuracy to meet company and customer standards
• Replenish stock as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Handle all products with care and report any damage immediately
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local HACCP, OSHA, and GMP guidelines

About You

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 months of related experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA and HACCP-compliant food safety standards
• Strong understanding of meat types, cuts, and preparation methods
• Ability to safely use knives, scales, and related tools
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
