Job Opening: Sheetline Packer

Looking for experienced Packers and those experienced in Manufacturing to assist a well known local company that Manufactures flexible foams for the equipment market and provider of engineered foams in Mebane, NC.

Pay Rate: $18.00

Shift: 12 hour night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) 3x2x2 Schedule

POSITION SUMMARY:   Responsible for packing sheets/ rolls according to customer specifications.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:

• Able to make boxes, have knowledge of quality issues, how to place tubes in the appropriate boxes, and walk tubes from extruder to take-off.
• Assist other value stream team members as needed.
• Must be able to stand and work at rapid pace for extended periods of time.
• Basic computer inputting capabilities for Quality purposes
• Perform other duties or tasks that may be assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Must be able to differentiate quality issues on tubes and pack efficiently.
