Position: Warehouse Janitor
Location: Brookshire, TX
Pay Rate: $16.75 – $17.75/hour. Paid weekly!
Available Schedules:
- A: Sunday-Tuesday 4 AM – 4:30 PM, Wednesday 4 AM – 8 AM
- B: Wednesday 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Thursday – Saturday 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- C: Monday-Friday 2 PM-10:30 PM
Position Overview
Logistics facility in Brookshire is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitor who is comfortable performing both custodial duties and light forklift operation. This role is primarily focused on cleaning and maintaining the facility, with occasional forklift use to move heavy items such as trash bins and bulk materials. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cleaning services throughout the warehouse, offices, and common areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, breakrooms, and workspaces
- Empty trash cans, remove debris, and transport trash using a forklift when needed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust dock doors, floors, and equipment
- Operate a sit-down forklift and EPJ on a limited basis to move heavy items (not a production forklift role)
- Operate a floor scrubber machine (training provided)
- Perform basic equipment or facility-related repairs as needed

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of custodial or janitorial experience
- Minimal experience operating a sit-down forklift and EPJ (no certification needed, but experience is required)
- Willingness to clean restrooms, offices, and warehouse areas
- Ability to safely walk, stand, bend, reach (including overhead), climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience using a floor scrubber machine (a plus, but not required)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well with others
