We are currently seeking experienced Order Picker / Cherry Picker Forklift Operators to join our team at Ryder in Apopka, FL. This is a great opportunity to work in a safe, well-organized warehouse environment with competitive pay and strong benefits.
Available Shifts & Pay Rates
- Sunday – Wednesday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM — $19.95/hr
- Sunday – Wednesday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM — $20.95/hr
- Wednesday – Saturday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM — $19.95/hr
- Wednesday – Saturday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM — $20.95/hr
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Accurately pick and pack orders, audit product, perform tote induction, and stage freight
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Complete day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide basic technical and maintenance support related to automated packing systems during production
- Meet productivity and performance standards as outlined in the contract
- Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements
- Experience operating an Order Picker / Cherry Picker Forklift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable transportation (facility is accessible to major highways)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in a warehouse or distribution center
- At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment
- At least 6 months experience using RF scanners
- At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving inventory data
