Hours: 10am-6:30pm
Location: Wilmington NC
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Control Room Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll support daily operations by monitoring systems, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor control room systems, equipment, and activity throughout the shift
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation with a high level of accuracy
- Communicate operational updates to supervisors and relevant departments
- Track incoming and outgoing materials, shipments, or personnel (depending on industry)
- Respond to alarms, alerts, or irregularities according to established procedures
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols
- Support incident reporting and follow-up actions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
- Previous experience in a control room, dispatch, security, manufacturing, or administrative role is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable using computers, monitoring systems, and basic office software
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
