Material Handler II
General Description
The Material Handler II is a mid-level material handling position responsible for performing medium complexity activities including loading, unloading, moving, and storing materials within the warehouse in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner. This role requires the ability to operate a range of warehouse equipment after successful training and certification, while maintaining compliance with safety standards and Crane Worldwide SOPs.

Essential Job Functions
Signs off on Bills of Lading (BOL), cross-checks packing lists, picking documents, and put-away records.
Operates assigned material handling equipment for loading, unloading, labeling, and moving cargo.
Inspects cargo during handling to verify vendor accuracy and check for damages.
Fills client orders safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Crane Worldwide SOPs.
Loads and unloads materials by hand, pallet jack, forklift, or other approved warehouse equipment.
Loads vehicles and applies strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage in transit.
Counts, weighs, and records materials handled on daily production sheets.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and scans freight using RF equipment.
Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
Reads and follows work orders to determine materials or container loads to be moved.
Maintains warehouse housekeeping standards to ensure a safe work environment.
Accurately and courteously loads client merchandise.
Job requires presence on-site at the assigned warehouse location.
Performs other duties as assigned.
