Now Hiring: Forklift Operator / E-Commerce Shipping Associate
Location: Kissimmee, FL
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday; Overtime/Weekends as needed)
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Position Summary
The Forklift Operator / E-Commerce Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient preparation and shipment of outbound orders. This role supports daily e-commerce and warehouse operations by verifying order details, maintaining shipping records, staging freight, and ensuring full compliance with company and customer requirements. The position also contributes to inventory accuracy and warehouse organization to support smooth operational flow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Shipping & Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks safely using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment.
- Verify product counts, descriptions, and order accuracy against packing lists and DO/BOL.
- Apply shipping labels, UPCs, and identifiers according to customer and carrier requirements.
- Resolve discrepancies in counts, labels, or product identification before shipment.
- Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight carriers, and other logistics partners.
Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents (DO, BOL, packing lists).
- Keep accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with company policy.
- Support audits and reporting by ensuring documentation completeness and accuracy.
Inventory & Warehouse Organization
- Maintain an organized warehouse by storing products in correct locations and updating records.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and reconciliation of variances.
- Keep shelves, racks, packing stations, and warehouse aisles clean, safe, and accessible.
- Follow proper equipment handling, lifting techniques, and warehouse safety procedures.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with customer service, logistics, warehouse, and e-commerce teams.
- Communicate shipment delays, damages, or order issues promptly to supervisors.
- Provide assistance on urgent shipments, special projects, or priority orders as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce preferred.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Experience with UPS/FedEx systems or WMS/ERP software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors quickly.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math, computer skills, and familiarity with Excel/Word.
- Experience with Amazon FBA procedures (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise and temperature changes.
Work Environment
- Full-time warehouse-based role.
- May include overtime, weekends, or holidays depending on shipping volume.
- Regular interaction with carriers, drivers, and logistics partners.
